I've been watching a few shows recently that has got me thinking. Here's what I wanna know, do opposites really attract or is that a clique only seen in movies? I first saw it in the comedy, "What Happens in Vegas" that starred Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. Those who saw the movie would know that after feuding so long over the prize money they won, they finally fell for each other in the process without realising it till later. There can never be two characters as different as chalk and cheese than them, in terms of status and especially character.

I'm watching a serial now, that has the same vast differences between the characters. You can never imagine them ever seeing eye to eye with each other, let alone falling in love. What's more, the issue of the social status stands between them. One has a rich background, the other comes from a poor home.

Now I know this is all happening in reel, but if it happens in real life, what would someone do? Would they ever push aside their differences for the sake of love? Or will they make an attempt and eventually see whether they can withstand them? Maybe in most cases, they would. Maybe, there are even some cases where they have successfully done so. I guess it will be better if I hear them on my own. Such things might not happen in my case. After all, I've always been told I'm never good enough. And I'm starting to believe so....

*On a happier note, my two faves came out tops last week. Hooray to the Red Devils and hooray to DC for winning the titles. Hope both will move on to greater things in the future....*
