Oh my God, they're back again... After waiting for 10 years, the moment which I was waiting for finally came. I wanted so much to catch the Backstreet Boys in concert seeing the footage of the many concerts that they did. Been a fan of theirs (Yup, not ashamed to admit it) since the first time they appeared in the music scene, back in the days of "We've Got It Going On", "Get Down" and "Anywhere For You." Remembered also that the last time they stepped on our shores was back in 1996.

So, got really excited when promotional trailers featured on tv about their upcoming "Never Gone" tour. "Never Gone" is by the way a title of their latest CD, which is 1 of the many that I have in my collection. Waited until the last minute before I bought the ticket but was never gonna miss this chance of a lifetime. Day of concert - 24th of January. I was having a sore throat from the day before but who would pass up this chance. And I must say that I was not disappointed.

At about 8.30, the band came out from backstage and the crowd got really excited. Then the lights dimmed and there they were, in the flesh - Nick, AJ, Brian, Kevin and my fave Howie (still as hot as ever). Throughout the whole 2 hours, they showed why they are still 1 of the best groups around as they sang new songs from the album, old classics and who could forget, their slick dance moves. I was cheering myself hoarse throughout the show with my escort (my lil sis), standing and letting my hair down all the way. My only peeve was that I was too far away from the stage to take any close shots of them. Should have paid for the VIP seats where I could be in front as Howie actually came down to shake hands with the fans. Arrrgggghhh! They rounded off the concert with Everybody...and i think everybody that was there did not want to leave.

That was a certainly a night to be remembered coz finally, I got to watch the boys 'live' for the first time. Dun noe when or whether they will be back again though, hopefully they will... For now, I will just contend myself with watching them on video until they are back again.
