I love Sundays. Sundays is usually the time when I get my much needed rest and my family will go out on our weekly gathering. Yesterday was no different. I stayed behind initially when they wanted to run down to do some grocery shopping as I had to clear some work. When they came back, they told me that we were going across the Causeway for dinner. Haven't been there for a long time so I just went along with the idea.

The journey there was smooth like the whipped cream on my favourite ice blended latte. We had a sumptuous dinner, amidst some comments from the locals, which I chose to ignore. Dad suggested that we drop by the Eden Garden shopping mall to have a look around, which we did. Anything new is exciting even for me, so I started to roam around the place, stopping at the local music store to check out the cds there. I was walking out of the store, heading towards where my parents stood, when I bypassed this person who was heading in the opposite direction. As I walked past him, I was thinking, "Boy! This face looks so familiar!" I stopped and turned to have a second look and noticed that the person was doing the same thing. Did we know each other after all?

On the jam packed journey back across the Causeway, I juz felt somehow that the person was who I thought he was. Memories came flooding back of how he came into existence in my life. What struck me as being weird was that after all these years, I had not met him in Singapore (maybe once a few years back) but I met him again when I went across the Causeway. Isn't life strange? I won't probably meet him again, not that it matters, but if I do, it will probably take some time for me to gather my courage to talk to him. Wherever u are, hope that u r happy and contented with what and who you have in your life....
