In life, changes are inevitable. Just look at Singapore, for example. 10 years ago, it was just entering into the first phase of the 21st century. 10 years later, it is on its way to introducing the attractions of a resort world to its people. With development comes changes. It is a natural process that few would want to dispute. As they occur, we would just have to accept these changes as they come along.
It's a bit difficult to accept changes in people though. Just when you think that you know who they are, they suddenly turn into another person that you never know has existed beneath. It's like you are dealing with a totally new person and sometimes, they display actions and words that are unlike them. I am not saying that people cannot change - as we age, we will of course change physically and maybe become more mature as we go through different experiences in life. It's the change in character that I cannot fathom. I always believe that we strive to change for the better and not for the worse. Maybe, it's true what people say. We can never know a person inside out. That is the fact of life and we just have to accept that. - Hazy
* Let us pray for the people in Haiti. May they overcome this hurdle that have descended upon them and hopefully, with God's will, their condition will change for the better soon.
