I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. It is up to the individual then to utilise and accept their destiny fully or be overwhelmed by them. Truth be told, 2009 has been a challenging year for me. Be it in the personal or work front, there were times when I just felt like throwing in the towel as the pressures kept mounting.

The last part of the year was especially difficult. Sometimes, as they say, you always get what you wished for. Although, I would not want it during circumstances like this. However, things had happened whether I wished for it or now. So, I guess the only thing that could be done was to accept it as a challenge and see how we could work to overcome it. With God's will, things are finally returning back to normal again although the whole process took nearly three months.

It is during times like this that we can see who our true friends are. I guess it is a blessing to have them around, especially during times of crisis where they can be our support and confidant. To U, thank you for being there from the start - helping out with the cleaning and packing up, driving me around to places where I needed to be, lending me your ear in order for me to air my grouses and for sharing the comfort of your house. My family and I will always be grateful to you!

As 2009 draws to an end, it is time for us to let go. Let these memories, be it good or bad remain etched in our mind. Some can be used as lessons to remind us that we must always treasure what we have and for that, we must always remain grateful. Hopefully 2010 will be a better year for everyone and let us not forget, moments that can make our day a little bit brighter. Take care and god bless - Hazy
