In about 2 weeks time, I will turn older. But I guess, age is just a number. Sometimes, I just feel that people think that I am still young and it can get really frustrating. They may be doing it out of concern but I guess it's high time they realise that I am old enough to take care of myself and do what's right for me. Now that work is done and we are having our leave, I just need the time to sit back and enjoy the months of work that I've put in. And nothing is more enjoyable than doing it with people who actually went through the same thing and knew the amount of time and hard work that we had put in. Of course that will mean that I will be out more than before and spend longer time away, but I don't see where the issue is here. I have no major commitments yet and don't have to account to anyone so please trust me enough to know that whenever I am around, I will do whatever needs to be done. I can't cook and can't iron - so no help there but you know what I can and will always do. Give me a break - I can't coop myself up all the time. And next year, when I start, my time for rest and fun will probably be shorter. As said by Mr Oz just now, "There goes your social life for 4 years." He's right, I do acknowledge that fact when I decide to do it so I need all the time before that. So, please do try to understand that I need that time away. If you can't understand it, then I guess nobody else will.....
