28th July 2006 - This was the day that I would never forget, like ever. Missed work today coz I had to send my mum to the doctor. Mum was sick. Applied for urgent leave. Thank goodness was granted permission. Wanted to see Dr for stiff neck all week but did not go in the end coz neck was feeling better.

Never did I realise that another part of me would have to go see the "Dr" instead. My beloved 6280 fone is currently in the good hands (hopefully) of the NOKIA CARE CENTRE "doctors". C, I had juz finished chatting wif Jewel's mummy on the fone when I needed to draw money for my mum's Dr fees. Pull of gravity was so strong that it fell out on my hands and hit the stone floor. At that point of tyme, my heart cracked like the LCD windscreen on the fone. MY FONE! I had juz bought it like 2 months ago. For those of u who think, what's the fuss? It's juz a fone - let me juz share that I was aiming for that fone for a long time and it was with the strongest resolute that I bought it. N it had to drop(my fault, i guess). When I brought it to the CARE CENTRE, the person told me that I had to pay for the repair coz physical damage was not covered under the warranty. Worse still,if the motherboard was not working, I would have to bid a tearful goodbye to my fone 4ver.

And the silly me was also unsure weda my contacts had been copied to my SIM card or was mainly stored in the fone. Person asked weda I wanna upgrade and I said yes - not knowing that my contacts had not been copied to my SIM. Didn't realise till put card in my sis's fone. Haiz! As if dropping it was not bad enough. Lost ALL my contacts too! Now, I can only pray that the "doctors" can work miracles wif my fone. Still have a long way to go - juz two months into using it. Really hoping it will be as good as new. Or at least, have the major functions working well. Right now, I can only hope and pray. N oh yeah, need to start asking my friends for their contacts again too..... :(
