Took me a while to finally sit down and write this. Wanted to write about my trip but was down with flu the 3rd day I came back. Had to spend time with Mrs LA and AH too before they went back. Finally went to the dr today and was told to rest. Wanted to explore the familiar sights of Orchard again but had to shelve plans for now coz of illness and heavy downpour.

Back to the trip I suppose. Man,what an amazing feeling it was to be back soaring the skies again. Had always dreamt of seeing the world through the blue skies but of coz, that never materialised. As usual, got plane jitters especially after pilot told crew to sit down due to turbulence (think was at Denpasar). Could not sleep tho nite flight maybe coz of excitement. Reached there safely around 1 plus. Mr and Mrs Z picked us up at airport.

The next day, went to Freemantle. Spent some time there and had lunch too (oooh, the super hot curry). Felt like volcanoes erupted inside my tummy. Made our way to Albany the next day. Journey was 5 hours long. Sights were intriguing - Blowholes, Windfarm and especially the Valley of the Giants. Didn't want to go initially coz was feeling scared of the height. Braved myself to go 4 the treetop walk in the end. Feet felt like being ladened with lead while walking and bridge was shaking. Spent 3 days in Albany and made our way back to Perth. Visited Pinnacles too after Albany - altho the place was basically filled with rocks, the whole desert feel was amazing. Wind blew sand to eyes too (yipes...)Sky was clear blue. Visited city area and shopped for family. (didn't get any for myself this time) Managed to visit cousin the eve before I left and there the "M" issue started again. Had to use quick wit to answer sensitive questions directed at me. Especially about matchmaking and choice of hubby ( Not again! Spare me , please...Cannot escape even when out of Singapore.)

Although the trip was reasonably long, the hours passed by juz like that and realised had to leave eventually. Quite hesistant but work beckoned. At the end of the day, really felt like I had a worthy trip. The pictures will give me fond memories of the happy times I spent there. God willing, I will have the means to go there again (or maybe even further this time). Manchester, London or even New York, who knows....
