"Teman Sejati" by Brothers - I've loved that song since I heard it in the video of my best pal's wedding in 2003. I'm not really sure though how that song managed to capture me so. Maybe it's due to the melodious and relaxed tune. Or perhaps it's the lyrics that provide meaningful insights to my life.

To shed some light, this song actually speaks of an individual who has succeeded in finding his partner in life and is ready to embark on the journey of marriage with the blessings of God. It seems strange that a swinging single like me likes that song so much. I guess maybe it gives me more confidence and motivation when it comes to the "M" word.

Most of my friends are already in the "M" stage. I guess being friends, they are also concerned about my current status. They advise me to stop being picky and see beyond the stubborn wall that I have set when it comes to potential suitors. I just brush it off sometimes coz I know that I am not the stubborn mule that they make me out to be. But,sometimes I do wonder, am I?

Y is it that I find it difficult to accept some pple more than others? I've seen my fair share of them but guess they're not really the "right" ones coz none have managed to stick around. Is it true when they say that you cannot really forget your first love and that's what's holding you back? Sometimes I do wonder but hey, my first love is married with two kids. Saw him some time back in town with wife and children.

Or am I still holding on to an impossible dream? I've asked a friend is it possible for someone to have a 4 year crush? He said it's not - so to have this unexplainable thing for someone for 4 years...what is it then? Is it love or maybe juz nothing at all? Should I let it go n seek someone else who can provide me with what I need? I've seen what pple can do 4 love n it really amazes me. To be there instantly when someone needed you even if you have to cross miles and boundaries. I really take my hat off to them. To those who have found your love, I hope that you will be happy with them through life's ups and downs. As for me, I will continue seeking and perhaps 1 day, I will find whom I am seeking for....
